McCain Foods to add 50 jobs at Rice Lake plant

LISLE, Ill. (WEAU) -- McCain Foods announced Monday it will increase production capacity and create up to 50 new jobs in early 2017 at its Rice Lake plant.

The Rice Lake plant specializes in frozen onion ring production distributed and sold throughout the United States within food service and retail. The Rice Lake plant says they are moving to a new production schedule that will increase product capacity by twenty percent to meet consumer demand.

McCain Foods will begin recruitment to fill openings for its supervisors, maintenance, general labor and operator positions in January.
