Milwaukee Burger Company donates to local cancer patients

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- Milwaukee Burger Company delivered an impactful donation to local cancer patients Wednesday.

Wednesday, the restaurant presented a check for more than $6,000 to the Marshfield Clinic Health System staff for their cancer center.

On Oct. 18, Milwaukee Burger Company held its annual event to raise money for members of the community affected by breast cancer.

"It means so much that we get to keep it local, that we get to keep it to people in our community that the money is going to help with their bills and their gas trips and all of that stuff so that's really heartfelt,” said Assistant Manager Ariel Anderson.

A portion of food and beverages sales, along with 100-percent of server's tips, raffles, contests, silent auctions and t-shirt sales contributed to the donation.
