CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. (WEAU) -- Attorneys have reached a possible plea agreement in a murder case in Chippewa County.

A hearing was held Tuesday for Matthew Labrec, who is one of two men charged in the March 14 death of Kenneth Patterson. Assistant District Attorney, Roy Gay, would not give details, but says Labrec has another hearing scheduled for Feb. 9 and a plea agreement might be made at that time.

Investigators say Labrec and Jesse Lloyd met up to give narcotics to Patterson and ended up shooting him.

Lloyd has a court hearing scheduled in March.
