EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- It's official, Eau Claire County will host the largest farm show in Wisconsin.

Eau Claire County UW-Extension Agent Mark Hagedorn said the Wisconsin Farm Technology Days Board gave the county the bid for the 2020 Farm Technology Days on Wednesday. The meeting was in Madison. There's no word on a date for the event, but Hagedorn said it should be in the second or third week of July 2020. The last time Eau Claire County hosted the event was in 1992.

Last month, the Eau Claire County Board of Supervisors backed the county's proposal to host the event. Organizers will form an executive committee soon, and search for a host farm.
