BARRON COUNTY, Wis. (RELEASE FROM SHERIFF'S DEPT.)-- On Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at 7:58 a.m., the Barron County Sheriff’s
Department received a 911 call of a one vehicle roll over on Hwy 63 just north of Turtle Lake.

Deputies from the Barron County Sheriff’s Department along with the Turtle Lake Police Department, Turtle Lake Fire Department, Cumberland Fire Department, Barron County First Responders, Cumberland Ambulance and the North Memorial Helicopter all responded to the scene.

Upon arrival a 57-yr old male was extricated from the vehicle and flown to North Memorial hospital in MN in critical condition. The name of the individual is being withheld pending notification of the family.

The initial report contributes drugs and speed as factors to the cause of this crash. Hwy 63 was closed for about 1 hour.
