VERNON COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU) -- A 72-year-old man was hurt after a motorcycle crash on State Highway 33 in the Town of Forrest yesterday. According to the Vernon County Sheriff's department, Glenn A. Bergholtz, of Lafarge was driving west on a curve on State Highway 33 on his motorcycle when he went into a ditch and his motorcycle flipped and pinned him underneath. Berholtz was pinned under the motorcycle until bystanders were able to pick it up off him. He was transported to Gundersen St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hillsboro for non-life threatening injuries. Bergholtz was not wearing a helmet. The crash remains under investigation by the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office.
