One person taken to hospital in 2 car crash

TREMPEALEAU CO. Wis. (WEAU) -- One person has been transported to the hospital after a two vehicle crash in Trempealeau County.

The Trempealeau County Sheriff's Department says the crash happened Sunday night on Highway 93 near County Road A in the Town of Arcadia.

Officers say the driver of the first car was southbound when they lost control on snow-covered roads and struck a guardrail.

The department says a second car traveling southbound also lost control when attempting to break, hit the guardrail, and struck the other car when coming to a stop.

The driver of the first car was taken to a nearby hospital with neck injuries.

The passenger of the first car and driver of the second vehicle didn't sustain any injuries.

The Arcadia Police Department, Arcadia Fire Department, Arcadia Ambulance Service and the Independence Police Department also responded.
