Overnight ramp closures on 53

CHIPPEWA COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU) -- Ramp work on Highway 53 in Chippewa County will close down several exits and onramps this week.

According to the DOT the following will experience nighttime closures between 10 a.m. and 6 a.m.

The $2.4 million pavement repair project is expected to be finished by mid-November.

Wednesday 10/26/16: Close the NB US 53 Ramp to WB WIS 29. (Detour via WIS 29 to Seymour Cray Blvd to WIS 29)
Thursday 10/27/16: Close the WB WIS 29 Ramp to SB US 53 . (Detour via US 53 to Business 29 to US 53))
Friday 10/28/16: Close the SB US 53 Ramp to EB WIS 29. (Detour via US 53 to COUNTY OO to US 53)
Sunday 10/30/16: Close the EB WIS 29 Ramp to NB US 53. (Detour via US 53 to COUNTY OO to US 53)
Monday 10/31/16: Close the WB WIS 29 Ramp to NB US 53. (Detour via WIS 29 to US 53 to WIS 29 to US 53)
Tuesday 11/1/16: Close the EB WIS 29 Ramp to SB US 53. (Detour via WIS 29 to US 53 to WIS 29 to US 53)
Wednesday 11/2/16: Close the COUNTY OO Ramp to NB 53. (Detour via US 53 to Melby Street to US 53)
Thursday 11/3/16: Close the SB US 53 Ramp to COUNTY OO. (Detour via US 53 to Melby Street to US 53)

Other scheduled closures on the project:
COUNTY OO: Expect EB and WB single lane closures on COUNTY OO over US 53.(Until Nov. 12)
COUNTY T: Expect NB and SB single lane closures at COUNTY T over WIS 29 (Until Nov. 12)
90th Street: SB lane will be closed until Friday Oct. 30. Currently in one-way operation.
NB US 53: Night time closures scheduled Nov. 2 to 12 .
SB US 53: Single lane closures expected Nov. 2 to 12 .
EB/WB WIS 29: Intermittent single lane closures scheduled Oct. 31 to Nov. 12.
