EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU)-- Patients of Mayo Clinic Health System who use Marketplace for insurance will see some changes for 2018.

Currently, Health Tradition Health Plan is the Mayo Clinic Health System provider but will be exiting the Marketplace for 2018.

Patrick Turay, who is an independent agent representing The Insurance Center, says the new option for those patients will be Engage by Medica, but says Medica will not be auto-assigning members to their plan. That means those patients will need to actively select a Medica plan through the Marketplace or they may lose coverage.

Several enrollment fairs are planned in the next two months to explain the change and help customers select their plans for 2018 at no additional cost.
