EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) An annual event is turning back time in the Chippewa Valley.

Pioneer Days is taking place at Highways 37 and 85 south of Eau Claire.

It's being hosted by the Chippewa Valley Antique Engine & Model Club.

The event features several activities including historical displays of craftsmanship, steam engines, parades, and antique and classic cars.

Organizers say it's a good history lesson for everyone.

Event coordinator Daryl Dehnke says, “It's good for young and old both, we like to encourage the young people to come out especially for the kiddy-tractor pull and they can come out and look at the old time stuff.”

Admission is $7.00 and children 10 years old and under are free, Pioneer Days runs through Sunday.
