EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- A non-profit organization says its store on Eau Claire's west side was broken into on two different occasions.

The organization reported two break-ins at the Hope Gospel Mission Bargain Center on Moholt Dr. in Eau Claire to Eau Claire police. Hope Gospel Mission said they happened on Jan. 3 and Jan. 7. It said both happened between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m.

“It appears two individuals came in and kind of went through all the stuff in the back and took some of our donations that came through. We turned over some video footage of them coming into the store as well as some of the things they stole. We did have that on video,” said Kyle Skipton, with Hope Gospel Mission.

A police spokeswoman said that investigators collected evidence at the scene. A detective is investigating. The spokeswoman said that the department does not know if the suspects are male or female. She said there are at least two suspects, but that the department has not identified them. She also said that there is no word on a motive for the break-ins.

“Our detectives will be looking at the surveillance footage and comparing both events and incidents and trying to identify the individuals in those images,” said Bridget Coit, Eau Claire Police Department.
