MADISON, Wis. (WEAU) -- Projects in the Chippewa Valley and the Coulee Region are at the top of the state's list of economic development projects.
Gov. Scott Walker announced that the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation had a record year for economic development in 2017, with 59 companies from Wisconsin and around the world agreeing to locate to, or expand in Wisconsin.
These projects are expected to create or retain nearly 30,000 jobs and result in more than $11.6 billion in capital investment across the state.
Foxconn Technology group tops the list, while Kwik Trip's $309 million expansion comes in second place.
Mill’s Fleet Farm's investment in Chippewa Falls comes in at number nine on the list.
