Three hurt in Pierce County crash

ELLSWORTH, Wis. (WEAU) -- Three people were hurt after a two-vehicle crash in Pierce County.

It happened Friday morning, just after 11 at the intersection of State Highway 63 and County Road V, south of Ellsworth.

Deputies say an SUV driven by Randall Tyra, 58 of Durand, ran a stop sign and hit another SUV, driven by William Lanik, 58 of Winona. Tyra and his passenger, Juan Florentino Vazquez, 31 of St. Paul, were taken to the hospital. Deputies say Lanik suffered minor injuries but was not transported.
