CHIPPEWA COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU) -- Two people were hurt in the crash on an ATV earlier this week.

It happened in Chippewa County on 230th Street in the Town of Cleveland, that’s just west of Cornell.

According to a release from the Chippewa County Sheriff's Department, the two people using the ATV Wednesday evening were a woman and her granddaughter. An investigation shows the ATV was being used in a yard, when it hit a house and then a parked car in the driveway.

Both were taken to area hospitals. No word on their conditions.
