TREMPEALEAU COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU)-- Two men face multiple charges after being accused of beating a man with a golf club.

John Seagren and Leland Seagren were charged in Trempealeau County Tuesday.

According to the criminal complaint, the incident happened last Friday in Blair. The documents say the victim told police John and Leland Seagren entered his home and strangled him with his golf club, then hit him in the head with the club.

Police say the victim told officers he sold Leland a vehicle and he demanded his $500 back. The documents say John then shoved the victim into his garage and started choking him with the golf club.

It says the victim started yelling for his wife and once his daughter and grandson came downstairs, they stopped choking him.
