FOUNTAIN CITY, Wis. (WEAU) -- The Cochrane-Fountain City School District says it's continuing to monitor its students after several students fell ill with a gastrointestinal illness.

According to the District Nurse Elizabeth Hoffmaster, only three elementary students were out sick Monday.

Hoffmaster says last Thursday 15 elementary students were absent, but she says they were all back in school Monday.

She says a hand-out was set home with elementary students informing their families.
