ST. CROIX COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU)-- Three women are accused of stealing thousands of dollars in gift cards from several Walmart stores.

Brianna Sutta and Tempestt Robinson, both from Minnesota, are charged in St. Croix County.

The criminal complaint says the two, along with another woman, Shafonuna Johnson, bought the cards from stores in Eau Claire, Hudson, New Richmond and Red Wing, Minnesota, but did not pay for them.

The complaint says Johnson pretended to be a Walmart employee, and even wore a work vest to ring up the transactions while the other suspects posed as customers and distracted the actual workers.
