They're from right here in the upper Midwest and they're latest hit talks about the beauty of where we live.

They are based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The guys of Rocket Club have been together just three years, but already have three songs that have hit the charts.

The five guys showed their pure country talent backstage at Country Jam USA.

"It's a great festival in the fact that not only do you get to play this big stage and play in front of people who obviously are here because they love the music, but you also get a chance to meet them afterward,” Vocalist Chris Hawkey said.

With hits like "One More Day" and "North Country”, they're making it big in the world of country music.

"North Country this year has maybe legitimized us a bit, we're hoping. It kinda showed people you don't have to be from the south to be country," Hawykey added.

They are country guys who sing about the life we love.

"I grew up in Wisconsin, Southern Wisconsin, so as long as I can remember going up north was just part of life. Up north is one of those things, it doesn't matter where you're from, there's always an up north," Band member Don Smithmier said.

Rocket club's album "American Serenade" is out right now.
