Starting pitcher Rex Ingham (Garden City C.C.) was handed the loss, evening his record to 1-1. Ingham threw six shutout innings, but was roughed up in the seventh giving up three runs on four hits.

Woodchuck hitters were fanned 12 times as Express starter Ryan Escarcega (New Mexico) recorded eight himself.
