The North Division broke a 1-1 tie in the bottom of the 7th inning as Nate Hanson hit a two-run double to give the North a 3-1 lead. The South Division made it interesting in the 9th inning when the LaCrosse Loggers Evan Bigley hit a solo homerun, but the North held on for the victory. Eau Claire Express pitcher Wes Simmons suffered the loss, while Express teammates Kole Calhoun went hitless in two at-bats, striking out twice. Eau Claire lefty Tim Huber pitched 2/3 of an inning striking out one batter. The Express return to action Friday night when Eau Claire hosts Duluth at Carson Park.
