A school district that closed four buildings because of confirmed cases of the H1N1 Flu Virus, or Swine Flu, has students back in class for the first time since Tuesday, October 13.
The Medford School District says almost 7% of its students were absent at the start of school on Monday.
The figure on October 13 was almost 20%.
Medford's superintendent says there were confirmed H1N1 cases in the district, but didn't reveal a specific number.
He says the district followed a Taylor County Health Department recommendation to leave the district's four buildings empty and let any germs just die off on their own.
The school board has yet to decide whether students and teachers will make up the days they missed.
