(WEAU) - The Altoona School District says it is one step closer to finding the replacement for retiring superintendent, Greg Fahrman.
There are 3 finalists for the school superintendent position: Connie Biedron, an elementary school principal at Blair-Taylor schools; David Dyb, a middle school principal from Lodi; Paul Vine, the former superintendent of Rice Lake schools.
The district says next Monday, the finalists will go through a public forum, have a second interview with the school board, and an interview with community members and staff.
The district says it expects to have a new superintendent chosen and announced by March 19th.
