The Wisconsin Elections Division says it will have to discard "hundreds" of voter-registration forms that were mailed in past the January 30 deadline.
The agency says the law prohibits it from processing late forms by adding those names to poll books.
Residents who sent in forms after the deadline can still vote in tomorrow's primary by registering at the polls.
To do that, residents will have to present current documentation that proves their residency, such as a utility bill or student id, and their driver's license number.
