The Weyerhauser School District will have another referendum on June 3rd.
A referendum in the district failed by just five votes on April 1st.
Superintendent Chris Nelson says the district is trying again because the vote was so close.
The question will ask voters to spend about $71,000 less than the figure on the April 1st ballot.
That was a nearly $2 million dollar referendum.
Nelson says the money would cover the district's operating expenses.
Nelson adds that the district is already discussing consolidation with other districts.
He says he's afraid the district will run out of money next year.
