Independent presidential candidate Ralph Nader's campaign says it has gathered enough nomination signatures to get on Wisconsin's ballot in November.
State law requires 2,000 signatures to get on the ballot. Nader's camp says it intends to file 3,500 signatures on Tuesday, the deadline to submit them.
The campaign plans to officially announce it has the signatures at an afternoon news conference at the state Capitol.
Nader received about 16,000 votes out of nearly 3 million cast in Wisconsin in the 2004 presidential election -- just more than half a percentage point.
He did much better in the Dairy State in 2000, winning 3.6 percent of the vote as the Green Party's candidate.
