We all have pictures with our family and friends or of our kids and pets and we have some tips on framing and matting them to make them look their best.

Today we're going to show you some quick and easy ways to get your photos on display and looking great.
Joining us today is Rick Leland from the Framery art gallery in Eau Claire.

Measure your photo. Subtract 1/4 inch from the length and width of picture. Subtract that number from the size of your mount. That will tell you how much room to leave around the photo on the mount.

Cut your mount with mount cutter. You can get one for $60 and up. Rick doesn't recommend utility knifes because they don't do a nice job and you can easily cut yourself.

Once your mount is cut... Pick a frame that compliments it and your photo is ready for display.

You can cut the mounts in different places for a more unique look.
Rick says its really fun and a sense of accomplishment and that's what he loves about it.
