They are part of what’s called America’s greatest generation. Now, dozens of local veterans have been honored with a very special trip.

This month, WEAU 13 News anchor Meghan Kulig traveled with area World War II vets on an emotional trip to Washington, DC to visit the memorials honoring them.

We will bring you four different stories following their journey during the following newscasts:
