Firefighter who evacuated hundreds on 9/11 dies of cancer

A New York City firefighter who helped evacuate hundreds of people during the Sept. 11 terror attack has died of cancer.

A Florida sheriff's lieutenant is charged with driving under the influence after she was spotted driving backward and honking her horn in the middle of the night.

Two people have been injured in another explosion in Texas' capital, and police are not saying if it was caused by a package bomb like the three that detonated earlier this month elsewhere in the city.

Administration officials say Trump also wants Congress to pass legislation reducing the amount of drugs necessary to trigger mandatory minimum sentences on traffickers who knowingly distribute certain illicit opioids.
