Empowering Those With Disabilities
The Wisconsin Coalition for Advocacy and the Wisconsin Council on Developmental Disabilities are holding workshops throughout the state, letting those with disabilities know the importance of their vote, as well as rights they have.
Alicia Sidman of the coalition says the disabled community as a whole has voted at a lower rate than the general population in past elections, but there are slight increases each year.
