Autopsy results released Friday by the Eau Claire Police Department show that 43-year-old Thomas Zaborkowski died from drowning.

Wednesday afternoon a man in a canoe on Dells Pond found Zaborkowski's body near Mt. Simon Park. The Ramsey County, Minnnesota medical examiner said the death is accidental, and disclosed that he had a blood-alcohol level of .394. The legal definition of intoxication is .08.

Authorities say Zaborowski and others were drinking Monday near what is known as "the cliffs" that overlook Dells Pond.

Zaborowski resided on Hobart Street in Eau Claire.
