A Wausau police officer is accused of trying to kill his wife by driving his car into a bridge.
45-year-old Chueng Lee is charged with attempted first-degree intentional homicide, false imprisonment and aggravated battery.
The criminal complaint says Lee threatened to kill his estranged wife on September 18th, when he tried to drive into a bridge in Shawano County.
Lee had initially told investigators that the crash happened after he swerved to miss a deer.
The complaint states the crash happened just two days after Lee returned from Laos, where he had visited his other wife.
