New students hauled, wheeled, and carried their possessions into their dorms Sunday morning at Stout in Menomonie.
A little more than 3,000 students moved into the dorms but the university housing director says the university does it's best to keep traffic congestion to a minimum. In addition to the normal excitement students looked forward to getting a peak at a new addition on campus this year.
The housing director says the new dorm room renovation includes a new cafeteria, and work out rooms.
