MILWAUKEE (AP) -- The Milwaukee Art Museum is now free to all visitors once a month.
The Milwaukee Art Museum is partnering with Target to provide free admission on the first Thursday of each month.
Museum director Dan Keegan says he thinks the partnership will allow even more people to visit the museum, especially in light of the difficult economic times.
The program replaces one that allowed Milwaukee County residents free admission on Wednesdays.
The museum is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Thursdays until 8 p.m.
