Twenty-eight-year-old Matthew Wiley is accused of bilking more than a dozen people in Eau Claire, and countless others across the country, out of $21,000 through work at home classified ads.
The ads promised over $1,200 a week for stuffing advertising envelopes if consumers sent $25 for materials. The materials and the compensation never arrived.
Consumer protection warns most work-at-home offers aren't legitimate, and consumers should be very wary.
