Feingold Leads in First Senate Polls

Two new polls show Democratic incumbent U.S. Senator Russ Feingold leads in two seperate polls but with notable distances in numbers.
The Badger Poll puts the incumbent ahead of Republican challenger Tim Michels by 53% to 38% with nine percent undecided or gave other answers.
However, an ABC News poll is closer with Feingold at 51% and Michels at 45%, with four percent undecided.
The Badger Poll sampled 485 likely Wisconsin voters, and the ABC News poll contacted 775 voters.
