Like nearly every appearance by the president and vice president, security is extremely tight, and the crowd is restricted to invited guests rather than the general public.
Protesters are kept outside a large perimeter that keeps supporters from hearing or seeing them, but that doesn't mean they don't try.
Local democrats and independent protesters gathered outside of Choice Products, in part, to protest what they say is the administration's failure to recognize the needs of Wisconsin Dairy Farmers.
They say Bush would terminate the Milk Income Loss contract if re-elected.
Other protesters spoke about the needs of unions, the war in Iraq and other issues.
