Best Buy may be facing legal action from the state of Wisconsin. The Office of Consumer Protection is asking the Attorney General's office to take over its investigation for 89 consumer complaints.
The complaints alleged false advertising and misrepresentation, unauthorized credit card charges and no recourse after buying faulty products, among other things, and involve all Wisconsin Best Buy stores.
A spokeswoman at Best Buy headquarters in Richfield, Minnesota, says she can not comment on the specifics because of potential litigation.
