In the next four weeks, both the Wisconsin Badgers and Green Bay Packers will play crucial football games, but on networks that may be hard to find for many fans.
Now the state legislature is offering a bill to make the Big Ten Network and the NFL Network available on more cable networks across Wisconsin.
The proposal would set up a system that would allow an arbitrator to settle any disputes between sports networks and cable companies.
Many major cable networks are not carrying either network. Wisconsin's Saturday game at Ohio State is on the Big 10 Network while the Packers' November game at Dallas is available only on the NFL Network.
