Office Breaks Ground for E.C. Downtown

Ground has been broken for a new office building that will go up in the location of the old Greyhound Bus Depot in downtown Eau Claire.

The Chamber of Commerce and the Eau Claire Area Economic Development Corporation will be a couple of the tenants.

Chamber President, Bob McCoy, says it was economically the best thing to do, and if they wanted to promote the downtown area, they felt they should be a part of it.

The Chamber's lease at its current location is up at the end of this year. The new office building will have a few other tenants within its two levels.
