Fatal Car Accident

The Burnett County Sheriff's Department is reporting that 35-year-old Russell Phernetton of Webster, Wisconsin died on Saturday, October 9, following a one vehicle accident.

At about 9:45 p.m., the Burnett County Sheriff's Department, along with the St. Croix Tribal Police Department, and Danbury Ambulance service reponded to the accident on County Road F, near Danbury.

Phernetton was airlifted to North Memorial Hospital in Minneapolis, where he later died from the injuries suffered in the crash.
