City Council Approves Westridge
The Eau Claire City Council voted late this afternoon to rezone 209 acres on the city's west side for housing units and commercial space.
The Council voted on the rezoning at their legislative meeting on Tuesday.
The Westridge Village proposal calls for 700 living units, 23 acres of commercial space and about 20 acres of parkland to occupy the space at the intersection of Highway 12 and Kane Road, across from the Menards Headquarters.
