10th annual Leinies Family Reunion

CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. (WEAU) – Thousands and thousands of people did what the slogan said and joined the Leinenkugels out in Chippewa Falls for the 10th annual Leinies Family Reunion.

Everything from brats to live music and of course, many different kinds of Leinenkugel beer took over the lodge and brewery grounds.

The event is a way for the Chippewa Valley as well as out-of-towners to get a taste of their favorite beer and learn about the Leinies tradition.

Dick Leinenkugel of Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Co. told us the event is a chance for the family to give back to the community.

"We're so pleased to be a part of Chippewa Falls and the Chippewa Valley but its our fans. They come for the great beer and the community of Leinie lovers," said Dick Leinenkugel.

The brewing company has been in the family for six generations.
