ADAMS COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU) - Eleven people are hurt in a two-vehicle crash in Adams county Monday morning.

Police say at around 6 a.m., a semi trailer rear ended a 1997 sixteen passenger Dodge van in Springville.

The van was carrying 15 passengers.

The Adams County Sheriffs Department says the van and semi were traveling east on highway 82. The van was in the process of making a right turn onto county road Z when the semi hit it from behind.

Deputies say dense fog and the rising sun were factors in the crash.

They say eleven of the passengers were taken to several local hospitals for non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the semi wasn't hurt.
