We've learned more of the man being held in the Sawyer County shootings.
Chai Vang, the 36 year-old St. Paul resident, owns his own hunting property in Minnesota.
Sheriff Steve Schulz confirms that Vang owns 40 acres in Brook Park, near Hinckley.
He also says officials went to Vang's cabin on Wednesday to investigate at the request of Wisconsin authorities.
No potential evidence was found in the search.
Vang apparently purchased the property in October of 2003.
Meanwhile, the Green Lake County Sheriff's Department in central Wisconsin reports that Vang and another man were ticketed for trespassing while hunting there in April 2002.
The men pleaded guilty to the charge and were given $244 citations.
A website for the state's court records indicates Vang's fine was never paid.
