Marine Killed in Iraq

A marine reservist from Racine has been killed in Iraq. Authorities say Lance Corporal Daniel Wyatt was killed in combat by an explosion on Tuesday.

Wyatt was a member of Fox Company, Second Battalion, 24th Marines. The 22-year-old Horlick High School Graduate was stationed in the Babil Province southwest of Baghdad.

His unit has been active since June, but was only in Iraq for a couple of weeks.
