Habitat Looking for Applicants

If you'd like to own your own home, but don't think you can afford it, area chapters of Habitat for Humanity are always looking for families to partner with.

The Chippewa Valley chapter, while working on three homes, wants to get another started. They're accepting applications for a lot in Eau Claire.

A brand new home will be sold to the family at cost with a 20-30 year no interest mortgage.

Executive Director JoAnn Utphall says applicants need to meet income requirements and spend time working on their home and other Habitat houses.

For more information or to get an application, you can call 839-8993 or log on to the Web site www.cyh4h.org.

For the Eau Claire home, applicants must be from Dunn, Eau Claire, Chippewa, or northern Buffalo County.
