While baseball season is still months away, work is still being done to get Carson Park ready for new addition Eau Claire Express.

Construction started this week at Carson Park to add new VIP boxes, concession stands and restrooms along the first base line.

Team manager Bill Rowlett says construction is scheduled to be completed by the time fans head to the games this spring.

"Our goal is to have everything completed so as not to conflict with the high school schedule that startes the first of April, as opposed to our schedule which starts the first of June," says Rowlett.

There will also be a fan deck built along the first base side, which will have an all you can eat and drink patio access available for an additional cost.
