A former Eau Claire Police Officer accused of verbally and physically abusing his wife has agreed to a plea deal.
Xiong Lee's attorney says Lee will plead guilty to a misdemeanor count of battery and to a felony count of intimidating a victim with force but will be found not guilty of that charge. The deal will be finalized on December 14th.
In March, officers say Xiong slapped his wife and threatened to kill her and then himself if she told police about the incident. Xiong later resigned from the Eau Claire Police Department.
