The Green Bay Packers are slated to play the Vikings in Minnesota on Christmas Eve.
The game is scheduled to start at two in the afternoon, a time that conflicts with many church service start times.
Valleybrook Church downtown has three services scheduled, and one pastor says he expects the later service to be busier because fans can watch the game and show up afterwards.
"If you wanna wear Packers clothes that'd be great," says Pastor Nathan Anderson. "Even if you want to wear Vikings clothes, that'll be okay if you’re [a] hard and fast Vikings fan."
Some churches around the state have opted to change the time of their services, including Christ Cathedral in Eau Claire.
