Hmong Voters' Forum
Hmong voters in the Eau Claire area today may have a better idea of who they'll be voting for in next week's election.
Yesterday, a forum was held for the Hmong community and veterans to compare priorities they look for in candidates running for state and federal offices.
Joe Bee Xiong says the Hmong community benefits from politicians understanding the conditions many Hmong people grew up in.
He says Hmong people are here to escape a communist government in Laos, where there has been a history of detaining different segments of the population in prison camps.
